If one vehicle changed the way families are being transported - it would be this one

The Chrysler Town & Country has a legacy of family travel that stretches over 30 years. The original broke the mold on family vehicles by reducing the size of the passenger van down to where it could be parked in a garage comfortably and be able to carry a full sheet of plywood. Not to mention, comfortable seating for seven.

"The Chrysler Town & Country is one of the best minivans you can buy." - Marty Padgett, The Car Connection

Today's Town & Country follows the same principle. Seating for seven is available in all three rows.   With Stow 'n Go seating, the second and third row seats fold flat into the floor - a class exclusive on the Town & Country. With a completely flat floor, you can still load up full sheets of plywood - or up to 143 cubic feet of total cargo space. Outside remains familiar to minivan customers - a chromed grille and accents throughout. Hands down, it is most luxurious minivan available today.

The Town & Country interior follows the same form and function as before, plus a few unique touches. With Stow 'n Go seating, the storage possibilities are endless. There is always room for things for the kids underneath the floor in the second row. These can be organized further with available storage systems for easier access and protection. The UConnect touch screen offers easy access to touch screen functions. Plus, drivers can live hands-free with accessible phone and audio system switched on the steering wheel. There is the option of starting the car remotely from the Keyless Enter 'n Go fob.

Safety-wise, the Town & Country offers maximum protection for its occupants. By choosing the SafetyTec package, the Town & Country becomes equipped with Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, Rain-Sensitive Windshield Wipers, ParkSense Rear Park Assist and a Tire Pressure Monitoring Display. Airbags envelop the entire cabin all the way past the third row of seats.

There is only one engine choice for the Town & Country - a 3.6liter Pentastar V6 has 283 horsepower with 260 lb-ft of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic sending power to the front wheels. This combination gets up to 25MPG on the highway

For 2016, there is a choice of Town & Country models. The LX offers the most value in a minivan, starting at $29,995. The Touring gives you more at an affordable price. To add leather seating, select the Touring-L for maximum value. The Town & Country S offers true sports luxury not readily available on any minivan available today. Luxury is also bountiful in the Limited model, one of the most popular trims for Town & Country customers. For life at the top, the Limited Platinum

Courtesy Chrysler is proud to welcome the new 2016 Chrysler Town & Country - the original minivan. And still the best.
