2014 Jeep® Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel a Win for Green Energy

Anybody who follows the automobile industry in Grand Rapids knows that green cars are the wave of the future. Advances in green technology are becoming huge lately, and Jeep® automakers are at the forefront of the green revolution. Here at Courtesy Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM in Grand Rapids, we can confidently tell you that the new EcoDiesel engine in the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the most environmentally-friendly engines that we've seen.

Now in our new inventory at our 28th Street dealership, the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Kalamazoo residents are raving about is not resistant to change, like many other all-wheel-drive SUVs are. In the past, the Grand Cherokee was more focused on being an off-roading beast. However, the new Grand Cherokee proves that an SUV can have a luxurious and lush interior while also maintaining the patented Jeep vehicle toughness and durability. Indeed, the Grand Cherokee is equally capable of driving the streets of Grand Rapids as it is driving in the wilderness of Michigan.

However, the features that really has drivers talking is the EcoDiesel engine that's under the hood of the Grand Cherokee. This new diesel engine was created by VM Motori, an Italian engine-maker, and is great for both the environment and the driver. In a recent New York Times test drive, the Grand Cherokee achieved 33 miles per gallon on the highway. The power of the EcoDiesel is then sent to the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, which makes for a smooth ride.

The luxury continues on the interior of the Grand Cherokee, with the Uconnect infotainment system, which features a 8.4-inch touchscreen and an always-on Wi-Fi connection. Test the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee today at Courtesy Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM!
