In celebration of its trip to Beijing, China for the Beijing Auto Show, Jeep® has announced that it is coming out with four different Chinese-inspired versions of its vehicles. One of these, known as the Sundancer Jeep Wrangler, is set to combine the legendary off-road capabilities of the Jeep Wrangler nearby Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids love with a touch of sophistication and Chinese-influenced design.
Because China is one of the fastest-growing automobile markets in the world, Jeep automakers wanted to make sure that it capitalized on the design trends found in Chinese cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. The new Sundancer is the culmination of this effort to appeal to Chinese consumers, but it is likely to also appear in Grand Rapids here at Courtesy Chrysler Jeep Dodge at some point.
The Sundancer Jeep Wrangler is painted a tri-coat Chocolate Brown color with gold accents. The fender flares feature a unique Golden Bronze tone-on-tone ghosted pattern, while the windows have bronze tinted glass. On the inside, the Sundancer features Axis II perforated seat inserts and exclusive Berry Baltique Semi-Aniline leather, which is actually the same leather that is found in the most luxurious fashion labels. The gold theme also continues on the interior, with new Gold Rush interior paint on the door handles, steering wheel bezel, grab handle and gear shifter.
Besides the sophisticated appearance of the Sundancer Jeep Wrangler, it also features everything that you'd expect from a Jeep Wrangler vehicle, including all the off-road features and powerful V6, 3.6-liter Pentastar engine that is found on the Jeep Wrangler vehicles in our new Jeep inventory. Look for the Sundancer Jeep Wrangler to hit our lot later this year.
